Rose

This is Rose. She was born on May 23rd 2000, at 4:55 a.m. She weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 20 inches long. At birth she had black hair (not very much of it) and blue eyes (which later turned dark brown). The first time I held her was truly one of the most self-aware moments I've had in my lifetime. I knew she was a part of me, a much grander part of me, and that I would do everything in my power to make her the most appreciated person on the face of the planet.

Today Rose is 8 years old. She is bright, amazingly empathetic, and kind. She is energenic and althletic. I could look at her for hours, she has a rich skin tone, pronounced eyebrows, a thin nose and large dark eyes and eyelashes.

She loves to watch movies, play soccer, and cuddling. She is annoyed daily by her sisters and brother, but still cares for them in a gentle, sisterly way, and thinks of their feelings first nearly always. She is the meaning of my life, the start of my journey as an adult and we will hopefully always be as close as we are now.
